CVTheatre Fall Drama

Since 1972

About the fall drama

The Fall Drama is the first production of the CVTheatre season, dating its origin back to the 1970s. One of the earliest recorded productions was Dark Menagerie in 1971 which was before the inception of the Department of Fine and Performing arts, who currently houses the CVTheatre Fall Drama. The Fall Drama has had a variety of directors including Cynthia Berg, Heidi Fiorentini, Buffie Fanzo, Renee Ann Keil, and Larry Wineland.

Typically consisting of strictly acting, the CVTheatre Fall Drama is an excellent opportunity for students to build on their dramatic and comedic acting skills. The size of the production is relatively smaller than that of the other CVTheater productions and provides more one-on-one instruction with the director. The primary goal of the production is to not only improve the acting abilities of the students performing but also to provide the opportunity for students to learn the directional and administrative side of theatrical performances.
