About the high school musical

The High School Musical is the second CVTheatre production of the year, showcasing the acting, singing and dancing talents of CVTheatre students in popular broadway musicals. Performers work with professional musicians and voice coaches to improve their acting and vocal skills, while dancers work with CVTheatre dance instructors. A large component of the high school musical are set design, building and decoration. The High School Musical works with a local interior design company Giffin Interiors, who design interiors for large corporations like UPMC and PNC, to educate students on set design and construction. The High School Musical also provides ample exposure to the many technical aspects of the theatre, including special effects, sound engineering, and lighting design.
